For last year and this year, I gave myself a goal of writing for 10 hours each week (excluding journaling and blogging.) I've rarely met this goal for one week, let alone sustained this for any period of time.
Now I have a better idea, courtesy of Laura Vanderkam. She has a goal to write 500 words four days a week. I'm going to start with baby steps. I'll write 500 words two days a week and see how that goes. I have several beginnings of stories and memoir pieces, or maybe I'll write something new.
Something will come to me...once I sit down and start.
