Last night MLB announced that Mets outfielder Curtis Granderson won the Roberto Clemente Award. This award recognizes the player who best represents baseball
through extraordinary character, community involvement, philanthropy and
positive contributions on and off the field. Other Mets winners are Gary Carter, Al Leiter, and Carlos Delgado.
