Today is the earliest Opening Day ever.
It doesn't feel like baseball weather.
But here we are.
The Mets continued their Opening Day winning ways--they beat the St. Louis Cardinals 9-4. They are 37-20 despite losing their first eight Opening Day games .
Lots of contributors today. Cespedes, Nimmo, Rosario, Plawecki, Gonzales, Bruce--of course Noah Syndergaard with 10 strike-outs.
Rookie manager Mickey Callaway was the first Mets manager to win his first game in NY since Jeff Torborg did it in 1992.
Sounds good, doesn't it?

The news today left the win bittersweet.
RIP Le Grande Orange
